Shanon M. Ingles
Interactive Screenwriting & Narrative Design Consultant
Shanon is an award-winning game writer and narrative designer currently co-writing and designing the narrative for a next-gen AAA title for Ghost Story Games, formerly Irrational -- and serving as the Narrative Director / Lead Writer for the indie studio Midboss on their new game 'Read Only Memories: Neurodiver.'
In the past, she's worked as a Senior Writer at Telltale Games, mainly on both seasons of their WGA-nominated BATMAN series, Tales from the Borderlands and Minecraft: Story Mode, which is now on Netflix. She's also worked as a narrative designer for educational games, copywriter and creative director in advertising and a mobile game writer for Electronic Arts.
Shanon attended graduate film school at the University of Texas at Austin where she received a Mitchener Fellowship for writing and taught Introduction to Screenwriting. She completed her undergraduate education on a Bright Futures Fellowship at New College of Florida, one of the nation's top liberal arts colleges, where she majored in Cognitive Psychology, completed her undergrad research in memory and perception, and edited the student newspaper.
Shanon also fancies herself a street photographer and aerial artist. If you have something that needs to be written -- or own a circus -- she might run away with you.
